For those of you who enjoy the smell of new books, there are several medical book stores that very often have sales throughout the year and stock most of the textbooks you will need.

Medical Clothes

1st Year - Anatomy
For first year Anatomy you will be required
to purchase a lab coat which is styled to be
done up from the back (Note: not the normal white coat)
Also, a specific hat is mandatory during lab classes.
Those who cover their hair for religious reasons
are exempt from wearing the hat.

Clinical Years & Beyond!
For your rounds around the hospital wards and operating theatres. You will require a white coat and a pair of scrubs. You can wear whatever colour scrubs, and buy a cheap pair or a really stylish branded set (one with unicorns?). You are also required to wear a pair of enclosed shoes in the hospitals which you ONLY wear there. Some people get croc-style shoes. These people have no fashion sense….but the choice is yours. Besides getting scrubs in the store at Oleandrów, here are some other stores.
