The Medical University of Warsaw is committed to helping Ukrainian citizens who are forced to flee their country. We operate together with Fundacja Humanosh im. Sławy and Izek Wołosiański, who has many years of experience in helping refugees and currently monitors the situation on the border with Ukraine on an ongoing basis.

The university is organizing a collection of necessary items in partnership with the Humanosh Foundation.

These things can be brought to the Didactic Center and the Sports Center (Monday 8.00-18.00). They will be successively transferred to the Foundation.

Update 03.03.2022 - The donation drive is currently ongoing (8.00~18.00). No end date has been announced.

Important! It is very important that the gifts are given in boxes with information on what is inside. Please do not seal the boxes and remember that a single package should not be too heavy.

In addition, we ask our academic community for any assistance offers for Ukrainian families. The biggest problem is the lack of places where refugees could live. If someone can invite a Ukrainian family to his place or has a free flat, please contact us urgently at pomocdlaukrainy@wum.edu.pl . You can also report other forms of assistance for refugees here. They are looking for, for example, volunteers who know Ukrainian to act as translators.
