For those of you who enjoy the smell of new books, there are several medical book stores that very often have sales throughout the year and stock most of the textbooks you will need.

      upper years) due to the small population of the faculty, so you might need to hunt around for it.

Medical Clothes

​

1st Year - Anatomy

For first year Anatomy you will be required

to purchase a lab coat which is styled to be

done up from the back. Also, a specific hat is

mandatory during lab classes. Those who

cover their hair for religious reasons are  

exempt from wearing the hat.

​

Pre-clinical Dentistry Classes 

For dental prophylaxis and ergonomics in the first year, as well as numerous classes in the second and third year, you will be required to purchase a white coat and bring a change of shoes. You can get them at the same place where they sell anatomy clothes.

Clinical Years & Beyond!

For dentistry clinical classes with patients starting in the 3rd year, you will require a pair of scrubs. You can wear whatever colour scrubs or style you want, and buy a cheap pair or a really stylish branded set. You will also require a change of shoes. You may get those at Ordynator (store mentioned above), or some more recommendations can be seen below:

For medical practicals in the hospital, depending on the department you will most likely asked to bring a white coat and change of shoes.
